Installing Mods On Your Ark Server

Having mods on your Ark Survival Evolved Server can add a unique experience to your world and gameplay. Whether it is adding new Animations, Items or even Dinos.

Adding The Mods To Your Server

1 Login to the Kinetic Panel & Stop your server.

2 Go to the File Manager.

3 Navigate through the following Files ShooterGame > Saved > Config > LinuxServer.

4 You will now see the GameUserSettings.ini file, this is the file you will edit and make changes to.

5 You will now want to put "ActiveMods=" under the [ServerSettings] box.

6 After this, we will will want to get the Mods ID(s) you will be using, in this example we'll be using the MHArk: Fatalis mod. You wil lsee an ID at the end of the URL on the Steam Workshop page, Copy this ID.

7 You will now paste this ID in the ActiveMods= section you have made, it should look like this.

8 You will also need to copy these ID's and put them on the Settings Page under the "Mods" box.

9 After this, you should be all set, the mods will download to your Ark game when you join the server.

Things To Note

Updated Mods - In some cases, the mods may not be updated for the version of Ark Survival Evolved, some mods may work if they are outdated, but always double check that the mods are up to date.
