Minecraft Live 2024

Minecraft live is a Livestream which the Minecraft team hosts to give updates with everything to do with Minecraft Java and Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Biomes, Mobs & More!

During Minecraft Live this year, we have gotten plenty of new teasers of what we should expect coming to Minecraft in a later update.

Hardcore Mode in Bedrock Edition - Hardcore mode will now be available in Bedrock edition coming within an update, Hardcore mode is where you get one life in your world, once you die, you can not respawn.

Bundles - While Minecraft Java Edition has had budnles as an experimental feature, they are now officially being added into both Minecraft Java and Bedrock edition, a bundle will allow players to bring more items around with them at a giving time. Bundles will also be able to be dyed with any color available within the dyes in Minecraft.

Pale Garden Biome - The Pale Garden will be a new biome added to Minecraft, this biome will have it's own unique mood and identity, to make it feel unfamiliar to the players who explore within the biome.

The Creaking Mob - This mob will spawn within the Pale Biome, it will spawn during night, The Creaking will blend in with the new Pale Garden biome, as well the mob will not move when a player is looking directly at it, it will only move when the player is looking away. You can not kill the mob normally with a Sword or an Axe, you will need to hit the mob & follow it's particle effects to find it's Creaking Heart Block. When breaking the Creaking Heart Block, the mob will die.

Creaking Heart Block - This block can be obtained by using Silk Touch, which then can placed anywhere in the Minecraft world.

Pale Oak Wood - This will be a new addition to the wood types we have already in Minecraft, this wood type is a White colored wood and be used as normal.

Hanging Moss & Carpet - With the new Pale Garden biome, we will be getting the Hanging Moss & the Carpet which is within that biome.

Twitch & TikTok game drops

You can get the following Twitch and TikTok drops. Make sure the streamer has Drops enabled on their Twitch & TikTok. At the moment, these seem to be Bedrock only items.

Twitch

Mask of the Witness - Watch 10 minutes of Minecraft Content on Twitch to get the Mask of the Witness.

Terrified Emote - You will need to Subscribe or gift a Twitch Subscription to get the Terrified Emote to any streamer streaming Minecraft with drops enabled.

TikTok

Bog Dweller Mask - You can receive the Bog Dweller Mask by watching 3 minutes of any Minecraft streamer who has Game Rewards enabled on their stream.
